Here there are some 1/24 slot-cars, that I built modifing some static kits. The result was great!

For the Fiat 595 Abarth I used Scalextric formula junior wheels with yellow rims; they fit perfectly and look really nice. The electric motor is placed under and a bit behind the rear axle, like in the original car. This allowed to save completely the internal fit of the kit, but I needed obviously to put a lot of lead in front of the car to get the right balance.

The Ferrari GTO is provided with its 12 cilinders Ferrari engine under its opening front hood, while electric motor is hidden behind the internal seats.

Chaparral is a Monogram Static kit, that I turned in slot with a powerful Pro-slot motor and sponge tyres.

Ford Mk II is a superb static model of Le Mans 1966 winner car; I put on it a D16 motor.

Last, but not least, you'll see the Ferrari 512S, static model by Protar. As you can see observing the pics, I saved gear box and part of 12 cylinders Ferrari engine, w/white exhaust pipes, and I put it on the electrical motor.
